Delta offers a pretty good value for someone looking for a decent livestock trailer at a fairly economical price point. They have heavier duty commercial models for those using the trailer daily. This model is more ideal for someone shopping for occasional/weekly livestock market use, those using it several times a year for 4H, etc. This model is a great alternative to our more expensive aluminum models. We've seen some of the competition closest to the price point of this trailer and have noticied some differences. You should be asking them the following:



Are the wall studs tube or angle (tube resists twisting much better)

Does your trailer have acrylic, powdercoat, or urethane paint (Delta uses urethane, which has clear build it for more protection)

Do the trailer have radial tires or bias (Delta not only uses radial, but also uses oversize tires - axles call for 205 LRC 6 ply but they use a 225 LRD 8-ply - they know farmers would never overload these trailers!)

Does the trailer have LED lights?

Does the trailer have Dexter axles?
