We sell a variety of in stock steel frame gooseneck tandem dual beavertail and flatbed deckover trailers with tandem 12000# axles (24000-25900# GVW) and 15000# axles (30000# GVW). Our brands include Lamar, H&H, Ironbull, Big Tex, and Sure Trac. Locations in Carlisle (Harrisburg) and Irwin (Pittsburgh) PA, we service most surrounding states, including MD, DE, NY, MA, CT, VA, OH, and WV. Models include units with 2 flipover ramps, full width ramps, hydraulic dovetail, and slide in ramps. Tandem dual trailers are ideal for customers that require a greater payload than a single wheel can provide, or will be a higher duty cycle, commercial user. We define a deckover by having a full flat deck, approx. 102" wide, without fenders. Lengths will include any beavertail in the length, usually 5'. 12000# axles have larger 5" electric brakes (10K have 3 3/8") and larger bearings, axle tube, etc. Most are pierced frame models which load at a lower 32" deck height. Most common sizes are 25-40'. Approx weights - 25'-6700#, 30'/7400#, 35'/8100#, 40'/8800#. Tongue weight to the tow vehicle is often around 22% of the GVW, more on longer units (about 1% per foot from coupler to axles). Most trailers in this class with have full width ramps (equipment applications) or slide in ramps (hotshot trucking), but we also stock units with 2 flipovers (more economical), and some hydraulic dovetails. A 1-ton dual wheel would be the minimum truck required, a 450/4500 series truck would be ideal. All of our inventory will be built on an I-beam frame, some are pierced frame models which are visible with treadplate over the wheels wells, which lowers the deck to 32" (standard is 36"). Pierced frame is ideal for equipment, standard is ideal for farming and off-road applications. Trailers in this class will require a CDL to operate. Everything listed is in stock inventory unless stated otherwise, call to confirm availability. Price shown for cash/check/finance sale, we have no doc, prep, or freight charges.
